Dessert is one of my favourite things, but it does not love me with the same fervor.  Hence no-sugar-August; a month off the sweet, sugary goodness to let my brain (and backside) recover from winter's parade of cinnamon buns, caramel pecan sticky scrolls and many black forest birthday cakes.  I made this to put on the fridge as a reminder to suck it up, because I am a complete child who lacks anything resembling willpower.  Thought some of you guys might get a chuckle out of it Smiley

I stopped eating sugar (and grains) altogether back on Oct 31st, 2010 (great day to start, huh?). One of the best descions of my life!

This sign is GENIUS. I have an issue with sugar myself and this would be a near perfect deterrent hanging above the sugar bowl. I say "near" perfect b/c the only thing lacking would be the padlock that goes on the sugar bowl. I LOVE this. It is very clever and the font is beyooooooooooooteou s!
