I know this is a super old thread now but I had to bring it back because I just tried this tutorial out today.

This is, I think, the third thing I've tried sewing since I got a (quite lightweight, and it did struggle!) sewing machine for Christmas, and I'm so chuffed with it.

I got these pillowcases from my ex boyfriend who had it in his stash of bed linen that he'd accumulated from his mother (who is a right hoarder). As soon as I saw them I just knew they could be turned into something awesome, with such pretty floral pattern - if I ever learnt to sew. So I kept them. Two years later, and here one of them is, reincarnated as an apron!

Thank-you so much!
