Last year I made this purse for my step-daughter who was 4. It took me about 2 days to finish and I used left over yarn from the other gifts I made. I made the bag first which was more a white hat that went wrong. I added a handle and crochet the eyes and nose. I sewed the features on and even stuffed the nose. She loved it I carried it past X-mas. She did end up putting a juice box in it and staining the yarn. After I washed it she now has a pink snowman (which she likes better).

Do you have a pattern for the snowman bag?  They would make ideal teacher gifts, come the holidays!

Sadly I dont have a pattern. But it is very simple to make. You just start out making a round bottom to the width you want it. To make the sides you just keep making the circle. For the handle make a chain stitch the length of the desire handle. I ended up sewing my inside. For the eyes and mouth I made more circles about 1 inch wide (slightly bigger for the eyes) the nose was just a strange triangle (but I think it would have be better if i made it to stick out like a real carrot than laying kinda flat). I hope that helped. I have already started making her a jack o lantern bag for Halloween.
