Thank you all so much <3

Amazing!! My sister wore a reproduction 1820 wedding gown at her wedding. The seamstress said she would never do it again since it was such a monumental task. Your dress is breathtaking.

Thank you Smiley It was definitely a monumental task! I thought I would never finish all the bias binding on the frill... and those small brown bands on the frill had me almost pulling out my hair just trying to figure out how to do them.... But it was all worth it at the end Smiley

I meant to ask if you were allowed to touch the original dress when you were given permission to study it. ?

I could touch it, but I had to wear gloves the whole time. And I had to be very careful when handling it.

Wow, so fantastic! As Indiana Jones once said, "That belongs in a museum!" And congratulations on your graduation!

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.
