I have had this old wooden desk in our guest room for a while, trying to figure out what to do with it. The top of the desk was this weird laminate "wood,"  I couldn't paint or remove - so I Mod Podged maps on it!

The rest of the desk was sanded, primed and painted a cool green color. I bough new knobs at Hobby Lobby to replace the old brass ones. The maps on the top were "glued" and sealed with Mod Podge.

It looks SO much better in the guest room! Thanks for looking!

Sweet Hannah that was an ugly looking desk!!  I just love how you have decorated it with the map and that lovely green colour.  I would love to have this in my house!Nancy
