Thanks you all! Yes, it's my first go at embroidery... furious stitching with the laptop open to an embroidery how-to website! Tongue

I just spend a long time covetously browsing the needlework section of Craftster here and I guess I was comparing myself to those talented folk... it's a little daunting.

She said she loves it, and was so excited to see Charlotte's name on there already since it's all so new (she was born on the 9th after all).

Keep crafting all!

Tea that hoop is most definitely prominent position worthy! Its so cool, I love all things family tree related. I have a massive (read overly ambitious) cross stitch wall hanging that I designed... It has been going for a long time... It was for my parent's 30th anniversary, they had their 36th last month....

On a side note, how do you pronounce teamama? For some reason in my mind I have always said tee-a but it struck me the other day it may be like cup of tea Smiley

Mellybelly, Thanks! I too love family trees, and my bestie is a real "nature girl"... so it was an appropriate design for her fam.

It actually IS TEA-mama, like a cup of tea. First off, my real name is Patricia, but I go by Tricia, and friends and family all call me "tea" (pronounced like the letter, "T"), but also - I'm kind of a huge tea-snob. Not joking, I'm VERY particular about it. Has to be certain kinds, loose-leaf, brewed in a certain way, milk in the cup first and all that jazz. So a lot of friends went from calling me "T" to "Tea" (in writing) and it just kind of stuck. Then when I had kids I had friends who started calling me "Mama-Tea" and for whatever reason a reversal happened.

Wow that was a lot of explanation for the fact that: Yes. It's tea, like a cuppa. If you ever read my blog you'd realize how big a role tea plays in my life. Couldn't function without it!

Tea.

I do love me some tea.  Grin

SO - did anyone do any valentine's crafting? I helped our boys make cards for the hubs, but mostly it was them scribbling over me writing "I Love you Daddy" and helping the big one write his own name... you know, and stickering. So, no real CRAFTING. Otherwise I usually just make a nice dinner... except... I have no idea what I'm making tonight! Yikes!

Anywho - hopefully you're all still crafting and moving along!

thanks for that detailed explanation Tea! You've reminded me I bought some loose leaf tea at the farmer's markets a while ago and I should brew up a pot!

I know Valentine's Day already passed, but here are pics of the things I made!! Sorry for the massive amount of pics, I was pretty proud of everything I did  Cheesy

First, I made these two "naughty" bags for two friends
in which i included..
motion lotion and condoms LOL

I've also included a teeny petit four (but i only made two so...petit twos?)
that I've placed in these teeny boxes

for guy friends, I've made these little tags That says: will you be my valentine with a little check y or n on the back.  If yes, they get
placed in these boxes

and look like this

I've also made these which was SUPPOSE to hold cookie pops, but I didn't have enough time to make them between the valentine cupcakes and homework, so they held cupcakes as well

LASTLY! I made a box to place the cupcakes for my valentine (with a heart cupcake)

Everyone loved their little treats and boxes/bags
Hope you guys like them too! and had a great Valentine's Day!  Grin
