Looks great Fullmoon! (It's called a Fleur de Lis by the way Wink )

Idioskosmos - what a great discovery! Good for you!

I finished the cardi for my Mum ... and now that Hallowe'en is over I'm in full on Christmas mode. I'll post pics later tonight if my kids don't drive me round the bend first.

Tea.

butterflyangel, Thanks ^_^ Honestly, they're not as fancy as the super amazing CP and HP soaps, they're just melt n pour with a lot of time and focus and debating put into them haha... But I love them and mom likes hers, I hope boyfriend likes his. I tried to make his have less scent so that he wouldn't smell like a girl. hehehe.

Teamama, Thank you! And yes!!! That's how it's spelled XDDDD I knew the name but had no idea how to spell it so I kept trying to come up with various strange spellings in hopes that Firefox would give me a good correction, but I had no luck lol.

I like the red soap most Fullmoon. It's pretty.

I just did some MP for my boyfriend's kids...it was supposed to be goldfish

 in blue water soaps...

due to temperature, it turned into tie dye blue/yellow turned green. But they look cool anyway so who cares!

Finished up pj pants for my mom, the lover of all pinks. So she now has neopolitan colored pjs too!

SO - I finished the cardigan for my Mum. It's knit in a red homespun that I got (okay, honestly I haven't got a CLUE where it came from...) and it's a bottom up raglan with a seed stitch band. I did a seed stitch collar as well and toggle buttons which are nice with a fairly loose knit and homespun because it means I didn't need to do button holes! (It's cheating, I know, but hey - I've got a lot on my plate I do what I can). I really hope she likes it, it's quite cozy and it fit my bestie who's also a medium so it should fit Mum no problem.

So before this I mostly knit square things (scarves, dishcloths, etc) and then for my sister in law's birthday this year I knit her a dressy reversible shell - so why not move on to a cardigan? Right? Riiiiight.

Anyways here's the pics

I really like how the seed stitch button band turned out!

Keep crafting everybody! You're my inspiration! Smiley

My final day of canning is today! I'm putting up the last of the pickled beets this morning and then I will be DONE with canning for 2011 (THANK GOODNESS!) I am going to attempt to put everything that I've put up on our diningroom table (less what has already been consumed) and take a picture so you can all see just precisely how mad I am, and then will come the daunting task of sorting/planning for gift giving, but it will be a relief just to have it all finished. Whew!

How's everyone else coming along for Christmas? Can you believe how close it is all of a sudden? (Ha ha - my hubby always laughs at me when I say "Christmas is coming along so fast all of a sudden" because he likes to tell me "Yeah, if only they would have it on the same day every year, then we could be prepared" Smart ass.) ANYWHO - hope everyone is crafting along and getting stuff done!

Happy Crafting!
Tea.
