I'm not sure if there's an offer what you have swap going on right now, but if there is, this would be a perfect thing to swap. You could group them into a few pieces per item and get a ton of things you need in return!

I'm suffering from fabric envy now, though it's ridiculous as I've got a similar stash Smiley I work for a mattress and furniture store, and was given boxes and boxes of  outdated swatches and even now, every time they update their fabric list, I get another bag or two.

I donated a bunch on freecycle. Loaded up a woman's minivan and she donated it to her son's school's art department. I know one lady that makes purses to sell with the scraps. Another couple of ladies take 2 squares of fabric (as-is), sews them together, adds handles (made from a 3rd swatch), and donates them to a church to sell in fundraisers. They made one for me as a "thank you" for all the fabric I gave them. I'll see if I can get a picture up later. Then there's the quilt idea... though I've heard a lot of quilters won't touch this stuff, but if nothing else it's great for art quilts, wall hangings, etc.

Mostly what I do with mine is look at it. And pet it. And every few months weed out more that I think I'll probably, realistically, not use.

You could also make zippered pouches!

I have TONS of this fabric as well. My Grandmother gets it for me Smiley So far I've made owl plushies, zippered pouches and pillows. I'd love to hear others suggestions as well! I think that this thick fabric would make beautiful purses...I have yet to try to make one. The prettier prints look amazing framed in embroidery hoops for a hoop wall, I'm working on some for above my bed Smiley

Try trading for finished items/other supplies?  Some one already mention etsy, but that is a good idea!

Why recycle when you can upcycle?  Totally open to personal swaps, even if we make different stuff!

If I were you I'd make a crazy quilt.  I hoard my material in the hopes of one day having enough for a carzy quilt like one my grandmother made...
