On this week 'to-do list' I've had <make a refashion>. My friend's 18th birthday party was yesterday, so I decided to make something new for this occasion ; ) and here it is ! I wanted to share with my idea for old skirt so below I added a link to tutorial.

This is one of the best skirt makeovers I've seen in a while.  I love it and the photos of it!  I have a jean skirt in that same long ugly fashion but not sure if jeans how well they would ruffle as it is pretty stiff.  I guess there is only one way to find out!

You know, I've made a jeans dress refashion and also added ruffles and It looks great ; )) so don't be afraid and go to your sewing machine !

So after your pep talk I dug that skirt out only to find out it has a front zipper.  It would look too weird to put a ruffle lower down so just wanted to know if yours has one in the back and if you covered it or lined the fabric around it?
