I am looking for recommendations for 12x12 sheet protectors (post-bound) that LAY FLAT.

So far the reviews I've found online suggest the We R Memory Keepers page protectors. Any experience with these or others that may work?

I'm relatively new to scrapbooking, so I'm gonna ask this, too: Will it keep the pages from laying flat if I use card stock as a page base?

Thanks for any help!

Page protectors don't add a lot of bulk to a scrapbook so I think you'll be fine with the We R Memory Keepers. Also, I think if you use cardstock as a base, your page should be nice and flat if you don't add a lot of 3D embellishments (flowers, chipbard, etc.). I love a lot of texture onn my pages so I don't usually worry about my books lying flat.  One thing I've found that helps is to use post extenders on a post-bound album. This makes it possible to have a lot of pages in a book or a lot of embellishments on a page with the book still staying relatively flat.

Having just bought a couple of really nice 12 x 12 D-ring binders, I don't think I will ever willingly buy a post bound scrapbook again. I love doing 3D embellishments, and I constantly have to pull out my pages as samples in my classes, so I am just over the moon with the ease of things now. Mine are 3 inches deep at the spine. Sure makes laying flat a non-issue.
