Fantastic girly-monster, fiddlegirl8!  I love that you were inspired by your partner's wist.  The little shoes are too cute!
Thank you, Leslie!!

These monsters are just wonderful - love the recycled Flannel/Denim Brothers, they  are so green; and a Lion Tamer and his Lion - very cute!  This swap has been a lot of fun.   Cheesy

That lion tamer is adorable! I love his little vest, and the matching lion is so sweet!

This has been such a great swap!

miknessevie received yesterday, but her camera isn't working so she asked me to post pictures for her of the monsters that I sent.

I made both of them using the material from a thrifted pair of flannel-lined denim jeans.

Front view:

Back view:

The Scottish one has a tam made of felt, and the "green" one has patches from a t-shirt altering kit. So much fun to make!

I got such kick out of these two!  I really like how two things I love were incorporated into the monsters.  Scottish heritage and organic things!  Thanks so much for posting pics for me and for the thoughtful monsters!

I totally owe Luckdragon about 100 more monsters, and even then, I'm not sure any of them could possibly measure up to the amazingness she sent me.

Meet Ivan.
he came to me in his russian dancing outfit Smiley

Sometimes, though, he is feeling artistic, and changes into his beret and goes to sit along the left bank, no doubt with a book of french poetry and his easel Tongue

seriously, could he be any more awesome?! I don't think so. THANKS SO MUCH, LUCKDRAGON!

Isn't he the cutest?! I love his little antlers. Awe!

He also came with a woodland friend! A tiny green deer. It's funny because I've been wanting to make one of these deers for awhile now.  Wink

i'm so happy to see my lion tamer again!  that blue fabric was actually a pashmina from my wedding that got into the washer and went crazy.  the hoarder in me can't even let go of crazy destroyed fabric!  glad i didn't, cause i think it makes him a little special Wink

I received from Green Olives today! Check out my goodies:

He has pockets on his butt!

And this is the face Alice gives me every time I try to take a picture of her:

She has been walking around with it giving us that look even without the camera and tell us gruffly "Mine!"

I was also asked to upload the monster that I sent to Oywiththeplushiesalready, but all I took was a really crappy photo of the monster.  I am really sad that I didn't get a better pic!!  I also forgot to take photos of the extra stuff I sent, so I'll just tell about that!  I sent her a black monster with robot/alien fleece pants, and the back was solid robot/alien material.  I think the back had a spaceship on it!!  =)  I also sent a pack of yarn, it was purple, with different shades of purple, and I sent a green Family journal and some matching note cards.  I hope her first swap was as good as mine was!!
