this bag is from the quattro bag pattern by studiokat! Had to have the pattern after I read that Mondo from project runway was her inspiration.

It's a fun to sew pattern, goes pretty quick and comes out nice. The bottom is tricky. There is a zip pocket on one side and a pouch on the other!

Very cute! What type of interfacing did you use? And is the fabric and lining home dec weight? It looks like the perfect amount of structure. I may need this pattern. Great inspiration, thanks for posting.

I used what she recommended in the pattern, think it was craft fuse. When I do it again, I will use lightweight for the lining so it doesn't stretch so much when sewing...

all the fabric came from Hobby Lobby!

Very pretty. Love your fabric choice. I like a zipper on outside & another one on the other. Would of like to see the inside. How big is it? A great design!! Cheesy

That is soooo cute!  I'm going to have to check out that pattern!  I have all of those fabrics that I used for lunch bags and reusable snack bags!  They look great on a purse too!

Sharalee - it is actually really roomy inside, I can fit my wallet, makeup bag, tissues and a diaper and wipes carrier no problem!
