For my most recent swap, my partner wanted a corseted, tiered skirt.  I searched around and discovered that there doesn't seem to be a pattern in existence out there that seemed to fit what I was looking for.... so I made up my own.  I figured that since my partner wanted one so badly, so would someone else, so I wound up writing a tutorial for it.  There's no 'pieces', but you'll need to do the math before cutting into your fabric.  Here's the finished design:

And a close up shot of the corseted area:

The tutorial is long so here's the links - it's in two parts:

Part 1 teaches you how to cut your fabric and sew the waistband\corseted area of the skirt:  http://stacysews.com/entry/2011/0726_corseted-skirt-tutorial-part-1/

Part 2 shows you how to finish your waistband, construct the tiers, and gives ideas on modifying your look:  http://stacysews.com/entry/2011/0727_corseted-skirt-tutorial-part-2/

That turned out so cute. It reminds me of the Gunnie Sacs skirts in the 80's. I've always loved that look.
