Thanks everyone!  Your sweet compliments mean so much!  

As far as the design goes, it took me forever to settle on it.  My husband got me the cutest little striped cabinet for my birthday and it belongs in my kitchen, so I had to come up with something that coordinated with it because there is no way that I could make straight enough stripes to match it.  It also had to coordinate with my crazy kitchen walls! See http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334525.msg3866905#msg3866905 <---this post.  My mom has this vintage recipe box that she keeps crayons in for her grandkids, and when my daughter was cleaning up her crayons one day I saw it and was like "that's it!" So, no, it's not my own design, though I had to flub it a little to get it to work on the dresser and switch up the colors a little so that it would match my birthday cabinet    You can see I printed out a picture, drew a grid on it and then my dresser, and penciled the design onto the dresser *trying* (but not doing well because I don't like boundaries- but that's another issue ) to stay with the crayon box pattern.
