I just finished these knit shorts made from recycled t-shirts for my son. 


I have been wanting to make these since I finished this Patchwork Tunic Top for my daughter: http://scatteredthoughtsofasahm.blogspot.com/2011/06/patchwork-tunic-top.html   
But, it was another one of those projects that keeps getting moved down the ladder by other projects...



I basically just cut up and pieced together some of his old outgrown t-shirts into 4 inch squares to make the fabric and then used McCall's 5419 to sew them up...
