This is really cool!! I love how cartoonish it is ~ too often people cast bones for jewelry and stuff and its all way too stuck up and elegant. which i guess is cool if thats what your into, but this is something different. kinda reminds me of this costume piece by jim drain: http://www.tumblr.com/photo/1280/7762780604/1/tumblr_lojb0jrrLr1qzd8f6

I do wax carving myself, the cost of that must have been staggering!

That's a really cool piece, I love that it flexes with your finger.

Just a question though, as it has moving pieces -- the last ring is so close to the tip of your finger, does it stay pretty secure?  I feel like it would be constantly falling off the tip of my pinky and driving me nuts.  Just curious.

thank you everyone! *0*
I'm normally not a very clever person (in terms of thinking and comebacks), so I try to make up for it in my .. jewelry.
..haha!

Very groovy! I have designs in my head for a whole series of wearable boney metal, I should do something about that, yours turned out super cool!
haha thank you!
dooooooo it ~~ I was actually thinking about doing more with bones
but you know ... ears aren't made of bone, so I can't go into an xray of that .. Cry

thank you! I was actually trying to go for a more realistic look (I even researched finger xrays and printed a bunch of images out, my mom was really scared of me at that time), but in the end I always end up very cartoony :x
I'm not good with realism, I guess

uh
the intestines and etc. make the costume a little overboard for me xD haha ~ I like the idea of bones, though, I made a spinal cord-type tshirt a few years ago :x

it wasn't as bad as I thought it was be :x I went crazy with hollowing because my first project cost me SO MUCH and I knew this one would have a lot of surface area so I prepared myself for like $80, and it turned out to be $50 (including a lot of little earring studs I made)

still really pricey for a ring, I protected it with my life on my way to class hahaha

the tippy top bone has a small ring that the top of your finger goes into so the entire ring stays secure
it's not very obvious in the first picture (I was trying to make it very unobvious in the first place :x), and the gif moves too quickly too see it, but it's secure ~

herro herro ~ thank you for all your comments ~ everyone that I didn't reply to ♥__♥
