hello, i am a GUY and i am making a backpack for school, i know that i want some sort of rucksack, but i don't have a pattern. below are some links to some designs that i favor.

I don't have an answer for you as far as a pattern is concerned, but if you have experience sewing it wouldn't be that hard to draft your own pattern. It looks to me like it is just rectangles, so you could even customize it to the exact size you want.

A good pattern like that takes more research than whatever quick alternatives we could come up with. Google is yer friend, sorry! It wouldn't hurt to go to a fabric store and look at patterns, but pretty much all you'll find is kids' style or girlie-girl backpack patterns with minimal practicality.
