I threw a shower for my minister/surrogate daughter in May.  Cameron Wesley finally made his appearance on July 12, a full week after he was due to arrive; apparently he was pretty comfy in mama's belly  Smiley

Being a craftster, and not caring for mass produced baby shower invites, I made my own

I sewed the umbrella onto the cardstock and then wrote on it.

In hindsight, the rainy paper made it a little difficult to read, I should have used the cloudy sky paper...

I made a bunting (my first) that spelled Cameron, I figured they could hang it in his bedroom later.  However, it turned out ALOT bigger than I imagined, so I'm not sure where they put it when they got it home...

Laura has a real sweet tooth, so for refreshments, I went with a dessert buffet

We also had peanuts, and cheese & crackers to offset all the sweet.

Diaper cake

Sock rose bouquet

Burp rags

Onesies, the first is a nod to his gamer parents, the second is for his mama's favorite team the- Steelers

More onesies

My favorite, biohazard on the butt

Crayon C-- I used the ones with the coolest names on the widest part

The strip quilt I made her.

Thanks for looking  Grin
