Inspired by Helena Puck's beautiful Alice in Wonderland bamboo tile bracelet found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=384066.0, I found some bamboo tiles online (for super cheap too!) and decided on Alphonse Mucha's The Moon painting (a favorite if you couldn't tell). Instead of a single image for each tile, I chose to section the picture for the entire bracelet.

Great job!  I too love Mucha.  Great choice for this project.

Thanks for mentioning me. Glad I inspired you. Your bracelet is beautiful! I like how one image looks across all the tiles. How did you bind them together? Is it stretchy?

Yes, it's elastic. I don't have much experience with wire, although I did wire the pendant.

The elastic looks great and you did a great job with the wire.

Thanks! I loved the look of your wired bracelet to the point that I went out and bought some wire to practice with but I'm definitely not at that level yet.

You should check out Visual Quick Tips Wire Jewelry. It's a great reference guide to the tools and wire wrapping techniques with great picture tutorials. I use it all the time.

So beautiful!
I never heard of Mucha or of this painting before, but I love it and you did an awesome job making jewelry based on the painting.

(Edited to add: I just Googled Mucha and realized that I DO know a lot of his work. But thank you for making me discover another beautiful piece.)

No problem. He's my favorite artist and I love any chance to turn someone else on to his work! And thank you for liking my work <3

This is one of my favorite Mucha paintings too. I have a poster of it up in my bedroom. Smiley
