I'd like to make this Halloween costume . But first I'd like to know what materials I would need and how much of each item i would beed to buy . And also it would be great to have an estimate of the total cost of all the materials . I plan on hand sewing the entire thing , if that makes a difference .

Thanks , in advance .

If you have a commercial pattern the estimate of fabric will be on there. If you are drafting your own pattern then you will need to make the estimates yourself as no-one else can be accurate. To do this, lay out your pattern to the width of the fabric you have chosen, adjust it several times until you've got the least length while still keeping the pattern pieces in the orientation you want. That length is the amount of fabric you will need. Don't forget to do the same with any linings or interfacing you will need.

Where you buy fabric from and the quality you choose will affect the cost.
