It's not a mistake. It's...um...a design feature.

A little about this quilt: It is my very first quilt, a queen size, and the large majority of it (with the exception of backing and batting) are from my scrap stash!  I assembled the blocks by machine, but hand quilted it.  There are 143 blocks of about 9".  It took about 5 months.

The finished result

And a few in process photos.  Here's one of the backing, which is a nice little daisy print

And it on the lovely quilting frame that dh made for me to make my hand quilting easier

And I had so much extra backing left over, I used it to make a panelled bag for the quilting frame.

Can everyone see the photo in the post?  I saw on the thread list that the photo icon is missing.

Your quilt is lovely! The picture does not show up on the home page where you see the little pics of new projects - however, once you click on that little square, the picture loads.  You did a great job on this scrappy quilt, especially for it being your first one - I like your combinations and the layout too.  Good job!  Cool

Thanks, everyone!

And does anyone happen to know how to fix the thumbnail?

Hey, look at that.  I fixed the thumbnail problem.  Craftser and photobucket weren't playing nice.  Or something.

That's so much fun!  I really like the mix of colors.

Also, as an aside, I love your quote under your icon.  It sums up my design philosophy nicely.   Grin
