Finally done!  Made this for a friend as a part of the craft challenge taht went around facebook. 

Can't see the inside but the red is a gradient from light at the top to dark in the bag.

I don't know the name (nothing survived) but I'm pretty sure its by Alexander Henry and possibly has Geisha in the name.  I foudn the tail end of a selvage and all I see is that its copyright 1990!  (probably got it at Joann's)
