My daughter's favorite animal is the octopus. She has a stuffed one she adores, and one of her favorite books is a book about pirates in which an octopus is featured. Lately, her enthusiasm is extending to more and more sea creatures. So, I made this for her:

And a close up of her favorite:

So cute! My son is the same way, loves the octopus and all the other creatures in the ocean. Great job.

Thanks, everyone. The embroidered area is about 8ish x 10ish (very precise measurements, I know). It's on a piece of fabric that's a bit bigger (about the dimensions of a pillowcase) because I haven't decided what to do with it. Put it on her wall? Incorporate it into a blanket, other item?

The octopus' little eyes are so cute! What stitches did you use?

This is super cute! I was wondering what did you make this piece of fabric into? Did you frame it?
