Dressed up Dresser...or...'What to do with tiny picture frames' :)

My grandmother passed away recently, and left behind a mind-numbing amount of stuff. Literally, mind numbing. Living alone in a huge house for 20 years with a fondness for furniture will do that. SO. I absolutely love things with lots of drawers; I always have, so she left me this dresser.



I have always liked it, but I'm redo-ing my room with predominantly white furniture. A lot of sanding, wood-puttying, and paint fumes to the brain later...





I love it, I really do. You can't really tell in the pictures, but I sanded down all the edges so the brown comes through to make it look old. And the handles? Picture frames! I got them all for under $10 and hit them with some paint. I like how they are all different and kinda off kilter. Some of them have a different pattern on the top vs the bottom, as they were all vertical frames, and I like that too





The round one is my favorite I haven't decided if I will go back and put actual knobs on them or not. The drawers pretty much slide open by themselves, so I (hopefulllyy! haha) wont have too much of a problem. Cute > functional, right??

It looks great as is but I think vintage crystal drawer pulls would finish it off nicely...  So cute by the way!!!
