Firstly, an apology - I got a little confused about where to post this (I'm sorry if I'm wrong!)

I saw a bin on here some time ago made from recycled magazines (I can't find the link anywhere, so if anyone knows where it is, please shout!), and I fancied a go myself! I used an old catalogue, wrapped the pages around a chopsticks, and dabbed a bit of glue on the corner. I flattened these out, and used them to weave the basket.

Closer shot to show the weave:

Apart from the handles (fell off when I picked it up after taking the photo, lol!!), which were an afterthought, it's surprisingly strong. If I made another, I would weave the handles in right from the start for extra strength.  C and C's welcome-thanx for looking!

Inspiration without application is moot.
