First attempt at a journal cover, and I made it for my sister whose husband passed away 10/10/10, from Cancer. After 29 years of marriage, at 51 she found herself a widow, so she told me she started keeping a journal to help her deal with the loss. His birthday is coming up on Aug 5, so this is a gift for her.

Daffodils are her favorite flower, and I wanted to make it something bright.

Inside with journal, rickrack bookmark and shows the daffodils on the journal pages. (pure accident)

Learned a lot from making this one, so no doubt there will be more made. Thanks for looking! Smiley
