I've just posted these two brooches on my blog - a real fun make, harking back to the articulated plastic brooches of the 40's and 50's.









Louis and Ella, are the first in my Jazz series of recycled pendants and brooches.
Both are constructed from painted wooden beads, vintage buttons, Bakelite beads and cabochons, and each hold a vintage sterling silver charm.
