I'm so jealous of all of the opportunities you guys have to go to gigs! The nearest big time gigs (like the one I'm going to on Thursday) are in completely separate countries! Definitely takes a toll on the pockets! I'd love to be able to road trip to gigs, especially to experience something that sounds as amazing as the Railroad Revival Tour was. Sarabunny, do you reckon the Decemberists are the best group you've seen live?

And calluna, thank you for making me laugh like a mad thing. Awesome Smiley

I'm going to go work on my questionnaire!

waeseses---I wondered if anyone else had heard of Johnny Flynn.  I love him.  even more than M & S(though they are a very close second).

The Decemberists are in my top 3 (that I've seen live of course) along with The Avett Brothers (I'd never seen someone rock out with a cello like Joe Kwon does!) and the Old 97's (more rock/alt country). I see a lot of live shows because my husband is a musician, but those are my favorite three. Of course, if I ever get to see Mumford and Sons, I'll bet they get put in the top 3 Wink I'm so jealous of those of you who have seen them!

I didn't know about Johnny Flynn until after Mumford and Sons. In fact they have been a gateway into that whole genre of music. Who knew?!

M&S are truly just amazing live. It's like you can feel the energy and passion just pulsating off of the stage. Their interaction with the audience is such a rarity and you really do feel like you are all just part of a big party. I'm addicted.  Grin

Everyone should have their partners questionnaire so let me know if there are any problems. Time to do some stalking! Remember to check in and let everyone know how things are going.

Time for the fun!
