Found some old pair of pants and a skirt that used to belong to my mom... wanted some high waisted skirts for a long time...

Here is the result -

This one used to be the pants, unfortunately they are one size too big for me - but that is solved with a belt.
I just cut off the legs, straightened the crotch and hemmed it, this way all the beautiful details and pockets are maintained.

This one used to be a long skirt, was too big  as well - so I inserted a new elastic.

I'm in love with them, the can be worn in many different combinations and styles.
What do you think?

I like it! What do you mean by straightened the crotch, though?

Thank you guys,

toobadsosad  - when you fold pants in two you get this "bump" in the crotch area, so I just sewed it in a straight line (what you get when you fold a skirt in two.) I hope this explains it.
