I agree with everyone's opinions that it is an awesome quilt - esp for a first time!  I think you may wish to get opinions from people other than hubby in future . . . he is obviously off the mark here!   Cheesy

The fabric shop closest to me specialise in quilting and were shocked that I tried to make a quilt without a cutter, mat a quilting square. I thought to seasoned quilters it would look very imprecise. I actually don't want to make another quilt right now, but rather smaller things that are quicker to get finished. Think I will wait until the winter to make another, would like to make an applique picture one.
