I made this as a thank you for my step brother for letting us use his beach house! I think I am going to turn it into a pillow in a few weeks.  I wanted to get the stitching all done so I could start on so swap crafts! Here's pics of the girls.  I think this turned out so cute I just love it! I almost want to keep it!  I wish I would have made this skin out lining a darker shade.  I don't know if it pop's enough.  I am still new at this so I welcome all comments and criticism!

Pretty, and a very thoughtful gift.

the thread does seems a little light against your fabric ... have you thought of crayon tinting the body parts? they might pop a bit more that way. I must say, your stitching is beautiful, very neat and even looking. What a great sister you are!

Thanks I love stitching.  Its so relaxing. I've never ventured into the crayon tinting.  Can I do it after I've already stitched? I thought you had to do it before you stitched?  I've considered it but just haven't tried it yet.

Your stitching is so wonderful. You can tint after you stitched, but it's a little bit harder to get into all the lines-you could use colored pencils.
