Isis Woodburning

 I made this for my partner in the Ancient Cultures Swap. Now that she has received and posted in the swap gallery I thought it would be OK to show off one of my favorite pieces here.   

 I burned Isis, then added red and blue glass from a mosaic kit, nailed gold leaves and beads to the corners, painted the nail heads blue, painted the sides black and added the hanger and some yellow foam sheets to the back so as not to mar her walls.

I don't remember the exact size, but I think its approx 9.5"x4.5" (or so):

This is awesome!  I love the look of ancient Egyptian artifacts, and if this was a bit more weathered, it could have been found in one of the pyramids!  Beautiful!
