Here is my most recent project I've made for myself, I rarely make much for myself but I think this turned out well. I recently bought a loft bed and I can't reach my bedside table etc when in bed. A standard caddy placed under the mattress wasn't ideal for what I needed, so I whipped this up instead.

It has four pockets suitable for remote controls, mobile, small water bottle etc. The four blue parts are sewn on the back but are velcro on the front to make it easy to remove.

I made it from a tea towel and some scrap fabric I had in my stash, I didn't really measure anything, just used the fold marks on the towel to roughly estimate a straight line.

That is a very elegant and practical solution.  Thank you for the idea and the pictures.  I could use something similar for the chairs on our veranda.

Thank you Cheesy I saw some online that tucked under the matress but that would make it nearly as low as the table under my bed so I'd still have trouble reaching it. It also means I can move it up and down levels as it suits me which makes it handy - and I can probably use it in other ways in the future so it's even more practical than I thought hehe.
