Spun this last week. Finished Friday night I think. Merino/Bamboo, N-ply.

Spun this at the Farmer's Market Saturday. BFL, 2 ply.

Ooh, lux batt! 2 oz, plied with blue variegated cotton thread.

The other 2 oz of the same batt, plied with pink variegated cotton thread.

Oooh. They are lovely.  I love the shading in the brown BFL.  So pretty.

I have 3 new yarns this week, even though it is now much too hot to make me feel like spinning.

Dawn - handspun yarn by inlerah, on Flickr
This is from a batt of hand dyed fiber - it's got a bit of everything - merino, bfl, cashmere, firestar, etc....

Ectoplasm by inlerah, on Flickr
This is about an ounce of hand dyed bfl plied with glow in the dark thread. I've been trying to take a picture of it glowing in the dark, but thus far have been unsuccessful.

Fire and Ice by inlerah, on Flickr
And this is from another batt of miscellaneous hand dyed fibers.  Both this one, and Dawn were among the first batts I carded on my drum carder, so I am kind of partial to them.

Great work everyone, you guys spin fast! I hardly have a finished yarn a week.

Here is my recent, still working on plying the other half.

2-ply fingering weight of alpaca, merino, soy, silk, bamboo, firestar batt and superwash merino/nylon. 180 yards.

this week's offering:

milk latte fiber.  it's really soft, but it was a pain in the ass to spin.  way too delicate.

I'm late!

jexx your yarns are so lovely, i especially love the pink and the brown.  Hows the farmers market working out for you?  What's it like spinning while people watch?

inle_rah-fire and ice is so beautiful and ectoplasm has some lovely greens, does it glow brightly?

volomortuus- those colors are just stunning together.

charaxesdistanti- It looks so soft.

Puppy_girl- your consistency is so lovely.

Sprocketfox- TMNT yarn YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I finally made matching skiens, for some reason this is a realllly hard thing for me to do.  Soon as i finish one skein i can't help but spin the other half of my fiber differently to see what it'll look like as a bulky, thick and thin, etc.

gemini bfl- 400 yds total in worsted
