Mosaic friend is doing a project installation for a local nature center called, "Butterflies are Free". She made a open call to other mosaic artists to contribute, and here are the 3 I am sending.

They are on mesh and will be installed on columns at the nature center, and grouted. The butterflies can be real or imagined species. Mine are all from in my head. Cheesy

Ooh, those are all beautiful!  I LOVE how you used shells to make the body of the first one.  They're gorgeous!  Do you get to see (share?) pictures of the installation?
