thinking about joining....but I don't know how to bind books. I have a "bind-it-all" but I don't know how to use it. Sad

Is there a resource for "easy" binding I can check out before I decide? I checked out last round gallery and the books were beautiful!!!

DearBluebird - I was also feeling a little bit worried about that, but I found this series of videos on youtube (I'll link the first one) -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joi3_WsUxE0&feature=related She makes a beautiful book, but the tutorial doesn't seem complicated at all, and she goes really in depth.

I already have some signatures folded and ready for sewing so I can practise, maybe a little book with just two signatures would help you too? Also, I think everyone else who has joined was in the previous swap, so you could probably get tons of help if you need it!!

EDIT - Meant to include this but then I forgot, lol! The papercrafts board also has a list of book binding tutorials. I haven't read through all of them, but I'm sure you'll find something to help you in the list Smiley

@Indecisive Monkey.....Wow. Thank you so much for the information. And I feel so silly that it didn't occur to me to search here on craftster. Smiley

I checked out that youtube video and you are right...it's very helpful. I am going to sleep on it because I am still a bit apprehensive about this one.

Thanks again!

I feel timid too!! This sounds like a ton of fun, but would be a first for book binding!  Thinking, thinking....

Cheesy:D:D You'll have so much fun! I was feeling really nervous about my questionnaire (this is my first swap), but I read through the gallery and the thread for the last swap and now I'm so excited!!
