I know you can get like little ruffly bottomed ones for girls but there are none for boys.
so I thought maybe ... well hoped is probably a better word ... that i might be able to find a pair of underwear his size ... the smallet size i could find was 1-1 1/2 years (FAR TOO BIG)

The reason i need underwear for a baby ... he's worked out how to undo the velcro bit on his nappies and the pull ups are too big Sad

so my question is does anyone have an idea for small underwear for boys?

You could make him bloomer-type underwear:

I had the same trouble with my dd, after every nap I would go in and there she was pants-less.  I modified a shorts pattern into little bloomers/nappy covers for her and they did the trick.  Use some robot/rocket/car fabric and he will be cute as. Smiley

Look up "kartina's quick soaker pattern"   its a free pull on style diaper cover, its for cloth diapers, but you can use it with disposables too, its easy to make and the pattern is free.

I have these: http://hyenacart.com/FishsticksDesigns/mt/1395/17265/Undercover-Bottoms-Boxer-Briefs-Home-Sew-Pattern-

and my son has worn some I made since about 8-9 months, he's almost 2 now and loves helping pick out the next color combo I make Smiley

and if you don't want boxers, she has regular undies too.

Can you make something with snaps on the sides? Like this? http://mammacandoit.com/Diaper-Patterns/Training-Pants-Pattern.html
