I can't believe your SO's don't understand swapping...it seems odd to me. When I found this site and wanted to start swapping I explained it to him in like 2 minutes. I said they had themes you join and you get paired up. You then find out what they like and craft for them based on that and the theme. They do the same, you mail stuff out and get a package to open. His brother goes to swap meets though with games and everything else so Im sure that helped him understand. My first package was really great as well and he could even tell it was made specifically for me. He gets sad if there isn't anything for him now though.

I find myself saying it quite often, its a lot easier than trying to explain why I carry a tape measure and fabric swatch book in my purse or why I'm at Hobby lobby every other day lol.

Well thank you everyone for your help! I think he's finally beginning to understand it but he has been with me every time I've been shopping for the newest swap I'm in.
