I used to use my grandma's old sewing machine but it seems that the only person that can get it to work is my mom. So on a whim, I bought a nice little sewing machine, figured it out, and made this pinafore! I'm super happy because I didn't get any help from my mom (she's a really great seamstress!) and I didn't use a pattern. This pic kinda sucks, but I like it.

I really love the swirly fabric (is it silk?) that you used Smiley Blues and oranges always look so chic together.

Also, holy tattoos batman!!!! That's some ink that you have. I like it too Cheesy

hahah - my mom is a seamstress as well, and I would much rather puzzle it out on my own that suffer endless 'advice' on all my sewing flaws. You did a great job ... that material is beautiful, too.

Thanks Indecisive Monkey !!
It's not silk, I don't believe I can afford it and its a bit thicker. I wanted a flowy fabric, and found that.

Myrdda: Thanks to you too. My mom doesn't nag at me, fortunately. She's all excited she bought a used sewing machine for my friend that wanted one, she thinks its great that "young kids" (I'm 26) are getting into crafting and sewing. I also got approval on the machine I bought on my own lol. Smiley
