My lovely Daughters always keep me n my toes with crafty stuff they never ask for say a Ghost Costume or something simple they always go extravagant last year was Marie Antoinette / Cinderella from the movie Ever After/ And Scarlett O' Hara. This year my eldest wanted to be Athena Goddess Of Wisdom & War based on the collector barbie released last year (I will post a pic) Definitely not a traditional Greek Goddess by any means. But I admit I love that they want unique & one of a kind costumes.

I love this! I was really big into mythology when I was a teenager (as you can probably tell by my username) and I actually dressed up as a greek goddess one year. My mom made that costume, as well as the renaissance costume I wanted. She only had one daughter to take these interesting requests from, though, LOL. I love all the detail you put into her costume! I know it's a memory she will cherish forever! I'm 22 now and I still have the two costumes my mom sewed for me that I mentioned above (my mom made me one when I was 11 and one when I was 13 or 14). I plan to hold onto them for a long time.
