So I've recently ventured into urban farming and I absolutely love it. I have 2 small raised beds and 1 large raised bed so far (with more in the plans!). I've also been thinking about the winter and how to get by with gardening during it. I recently stumbled across this little device and my gears started turning:

I am considering a little experiment this winter of garage aquaponics but I'm not sure if the investment would be worth it.

So, anyone else interested in small time indoor aquaponics? Has anyone conquered it?

Never experienced it myself although it looks interesting! I recently read an article in organic gardening about gardening through the winter months - talks you through dealing with snow and ice and how that weather can even make your veggies taste better

Here's a manual for putting together a little aquaponics system:  http://www.fastonline.org/content/view/15/29/
