I recently participated in the amazing Decked Out for Deathly Hallows 2 swap and my awesome partner, Oodelally, listed on her questionnaire that her favourite character was Hermione and she'd like a plush doll of one of the characters...so, I made Hermione! What else? lol. I suppose I should stop making plushies for people in swaps but it's my favourite thing to make. ^_^ She's quite big..but how big, I don't know, I forgot to measure her!  Undecided Cheesy  I didn't spend my usual hour taking a zillion photos of her as I wanted to get her wrapped up and sent off, so the photos aren't all that great.

It was my second time making a girl plush ((the first Luna which I made for a previous swap, but she was teeny-tiny so I don't really count her Wink) -- and my first time working with yarn for hair. After much trial and even more error, I made her a little Gryffindor jumper and a little scarf in the style of the super big one I sent for Oodelally.

I made her a wee copy of Hogwarts, A History (no self-respecting Hermione would ever be without a copy!  Wink) and a wand to fend off those pesky death eaters.  I put pipe cleaners in her fingers so she could (kind of) hold on to her accessories. She was a blast to make and hard to let go, but she has a great home now so it's all good!

Thank you so much! She is so unbelievable. I'm sure anyone who wants a plushie in a swap would be ECSTATIC to get one from you Cheesy

I just measured her for you, she is 50cm from the top of her head to the bottom of her toes.

Once again, thank you Smiley I hope we can swap again one day  Cheesy

Aww, you're so sweet - I'm so thrilled that you liked her. Smiley

Oo, thank you! I'm pretty sure she's the biggest I've made. Not sure what happened, but like the rest of the package she just kept getting bigger.  Cheesy

Definitely! You are the best swap partner ever.  Kiss

Kiss Thanks! After all the hard work that went into her, it's nice to know people (as well as Oodelally Wink) like her.  Cheesy

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

She's awesome! I love the detail you put into her clothes. And those anime eyes are great!
I really need to learn how to knit. Wink My doll's sweaters are made from orphaned socks or thrift store sweaters.
