The only time my boyfriend and I didn't do a couples costume was when he was a Hooters girl and I was a clown.
We have been:
Fred & Wilma
Peter & Lois (Family Guy)
Captain Lou Albano and Cyndi Lauper

I'm beginning to try to get ideas together for what to do, because I do make all of our costumes and I get pretty obsessy about getting the tiniest details right.

He is a big guy..but I can't think of any other Large guy Small lady couples? He is also not opposed to dressing as a woman, but he has a beard and it isn't an option to get rid of it....we have a pretty twisted sense of humor so....I don't know.....

Have you done a couples costume? Have you seen a great couples costume that really made you laugh?

You guys are so good together!

How about that woodsman and his sweetie from the car commercial?  You could put fake birds in his beard... Cheesy

Make him some suspenders, get a flannel shirt, etc.

You would be adorable in your pigtails plus don't forget to find a wood carving!

I brainstormed with my husband on this.  You could go as Neptune, God of the sea and a mermaid or Santa and the Easter Bunny or Glimli and Legolas from Lord of the Rings (that was my husband's contribution).

Hmm, not really a couple, but how about two from the "27 Club", Janis Joplin & Jim Morrison.

Instead of him dressing as a woman, you could dress like Jay and he could be Silent Bob.

Tiny Tim and Miss Sue, you would need a ukulele and some tulips.

You could be a side show couple. He'd make an excellent bearded lady Smiley

BTW I LOVE your Cptn. Lou/Lauper costumes!

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!

He should totally go as Hagrid and you can go as a Potter character of choice.
