So I wanted to make some maternity clothing for myself-- especially since I had some maternity patterns in Burda magazines I have.  Oddly enough the best mat clothes I made came from regular patterns made 1 size up from my normal size.  The maternity dress I made looked so meh that I didn't even bother getting a picture of it  Wink.

This top was made from bias cut cotton (I should have ironed it before taking photos... oh well).  The pattern had been for a special occasion top, but turned out great as a maternity top.  I've been meaning to try it on now that I'm not pregnant but haven't gotten around to it yet (my husband keeps saying it would be a great built in nursing cover).

A full front view:

I also made a skirt using a regular pattern.  I called for woven fabric but I made it out of a thick t-shirt type knit (to accommodate the pregnant body changes).  It turned out great and was very comfortable.  When my baby stops puking I plan on pulling it out again.

The skirt took a tonne of fabric, so it's a bit heavy, but other than that it is great.  I don't know what issues the patterns were in off hand, but I could look them up if anyone is interested.
