Bow Down Before The One You Serve

So, on wandering around a local marketplace I found a new bead shop stocked full of gorgeous, shiny, sparkly things. I decided to pick up a few things and take them home to try making something out of.

My first attempts at making pretty, bead-y things. I think I have massive man hands or somethin' 'cos these beads gave me no end of trouble. The bracelet with the evil eyes was the first thing I made - before I discovered headpins(<-? Right name? Whatever they are, they're evil!), this was made for a friend of mine..  The necklace was made to use up the last of the tiny pearl-like beads I had from a sewing project a while back... And the pink & black bracelet was something I made for myself to match my friend X).

All in all, a lot of trial and error involved, but I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself X).

The necklace bugs me most, I think.

I used tigertail(?) to make it, and I think I should have possibly used something else? The wires sort of stand up if I don't have the big bead on them - Anyone have any tips? :3

Wow I love all these! That necklace is great and those bracelets are awesome.  I would love to know how you put together those bracelets.  Looks like lots and lots of jump rings with maybe a stretchy cord wove through them?

Oops! Majorly late reply!

Much simpler than that! Chain & elastic xD.

(Well it was my first ever jewellery project....)

I threaded elastic through first hoop on chain, missed 2, threaded through another, missed 2, threaded, and so on and so forth.
