i was in the tim burton round 6 swap and made this hatter for RobbinZombie. i also received some not-so-subliminal messages for some time to make a mad hatter poppet, so this was a perfect opportunity to finally get that done...

the eyes, vest and ascot are all hand painted, and i had a REALLY hard time making the hat, for some reason...









and a progress shot...i don't keep my work area very tidy...

its SO weird...i'm hearing that voice again!!!!

i made a wig cap and painstakingly separated it strand by strand by strand by strand.....i used vanna's choice.
