Ok, my lovely partner BirdBones told me to go ahead and post pictures of what I sent her, even though they haven't made it to her (after 4+ weeks now) and inquires into the post office haven't yielded any luck.  I will send her another package, hopefully soon.  But here is what I originally sent her:

Meet Frederick, a friend monster.  ^_^  He probably ended up being around 4" tall.  His wings were lined w/ pipe cleaners so that they could be adjustable.

And his sister!  (I don't remember what I name her).  I got a little better at doing the wings the second time around.

The entire package (less some fruit rollups, because I couldn't get them all to fit.  ^_^).  I made her a couple flower hair clips and a necklace for our personal swap.

Oh man, I would really have wanted those! They are wonderful, jillybeans!
Argh.  Huh dang those post office disasters. But I'm willing to look at the bright side and keep hoping these lovely critters have found their way to a child that will love them as much as I would have.

I have faith your package will still arrive.  I am looking forward to the World Postal Service tho.  It's is cheaper for me to mail to the US then it is for me to mail within Canada!  Perhaps the adorable wee bats have chewed there way through the package and the postal workers are having a hard time convincing them to get back in. Grin
But the Continent to Continent shipping can take a very long time.  I had a package take 3 months to get from Can. to New Zealand.  But it did get there!  SO keep the stuffie faith Grin

I just realized what the problem must be: jillybeans' stuffies are like Tribbles! They are so adorable that they live sorely off air and cuteness and they've probably multiplied so much while traveling, that they spilled out of the package and now the Post Office has them EVERYWHERE and of course, they can't admit that, then someone would have to get the Klingons or Captain Kirk and that would just open up a whole different can of worms... So you see, there is reason to hope Grin

That is the most logical response to the on going issues of the post office inability to deliver in a timely manner.  Live long and prosper.

omg you two are just too funny!

Birdbones, I love that you used the only Star Trek reference I knew.  That is the one episode that I've seen and lol.  My husband will love this response.  lol
