Horray! I received!! Cheesy

I told faemystique that I am going to grad school in the fall to study plant genetics, so she made me the loveliest Miss Chloroplast!!!

I never knew a chloroplast could have such a wonderful smile!

Check out this detail! The green squiggles represent DNA and the blue squiggles represent protein. The beads are the glucose and the yellow stars are the ATP!

I'm not sure what faemystique intended the purple dots to be, but they look like ribosomes to me. Wink

Inside the two membranes are the thylakoids.

I am so pleased with this amazing stuffie! So creative while still being an accurate representation of my favorite cell part. I always see those mass-produced microbe stuffies and wonder why plant scientists are left out. Now I have my own chloroplast stuffie to keep me company!

Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU faemystique! I love her! Cheesy

Teeny Beetlejuice is super cute, as is the little bird.  The plant cell is awesome even though I don't understand most of those words (biology and I are about 3-1 right now, with no plans for a rematch), and the Hello BatKitty looks professional.  How on earth do you all sew so well?!

The next round cannot come soon enough.
