This first one isn't directly from HIMYM, but was inspired by the episode where barney tries to do everything on the list.  the "I'm to old" list.

I don't remember which episode it was, but I loved when Barney said this, so I stitched it up Smiley

Funny story on this one.  Notice the purple blotch on the bottom?  yeah.  That was caused by one of my children digging out my iron and coloring on the heating plate. I posted for ideas of how to get rid of it, but hubby said "This is the perfect opportunity to put that quote into action.  Stop being sad about it and be awesome instead"  Well said darling. So there remains the mess.

Hope  you enjoy my latest hoops!

these are really cool. I'm a huge NPH fan (omg LOVE Dr Horrible), and the character of Barney is drawn really larger than life, but he manages to make him believable and awesome.(I don't mean to nitpick, but the 'to' in your first hoop should be 'too'.)

D'oh!! I knew I'd do something like that!  Ah well, I  can always rip it out and restitch the too old part.  It'll still fit Smiley

Belladune, those are so cool!  We should have a How I Met Your Mother swap.  I'd love to craft some Barney Awesomeness.

EDIT: I just suggested it!  Here's the link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=385679.0

In regard to the crayon, have you thought about tinting the whole thing with crayon?  That might look neat.

Thanks Ladies!  I had thought about tinting the whole thing, but I think I'll leave it, as coloring aida leaves it looking kinda strange because of the texture.  Also, a HIMYM swap would be fun!

Love it! I'm always telling my boyfriend to get awesome instead of sad when he's bummed about work stuff!

HA!  I'm not even familiar with the show, but I do love both the quotes you chose to do!  Awesome job!

Your husband's advice to just run w/ the stain and be awesome about it made me smile! I could use a little literal reminder like that around my house! Great job!
My favorite was the "smack bet".
