(Original Swap Thread)

I feel a little silly creating a gallery for just two of us. It seems we should almost have just done a personal swap.  But here is the epic project I received from Calabaza.

She took note of the fact that watching Chuck is a family affair for us, so she made a Chuck-inspired board game ("Back to Base-X") we can enjoy together.  This board looks like it has to have taken forever!  It's beautifully made.  It's based on Sorry!, with spy-themed rules.

And then she made this little matchbook-style needle case.  (I didn't think to take a picture of the inside.)  This will be great in my purse. Smiley

Thank you, Calabaza!  (And I'm sorry it took me so long to get this up - first week of homeschooling for the year, AND our car broke down - made our week a bit crazy.)

I'd love to see a pic of the inside of the matchbook needle case.  What kind of paper is the cover made of?  Is it the same size as a matchbook?

It's pretty much the same size as a matchbook - maybe a little bigger, but more or less, yes.  It seems to be made of cardstock, and there's a piece of felt stapled into it, which is what the needles are in.  These would make great stocking stuffers!

Hee, hee, yeah, for so much interest it sure turned out to be a small swap  Roll Eyes But thanks for seeing it through! I'm glad you like your things. I totally understand about car and homeschool craziness (I was homeschooled and though getting ready for public school was easier but I did prefer school at home)

The game took about 9 hours or so total, but I really like making games  Smiley

@Seereeoslee. It's a 2x5" piece of cardstock folded to look like a matchbook and decorated with Sharpie.

Here's the back, too, based on the "Guys, I know Kung-fu" quote:

I didn't even see the back!  Haha, that's awesome.  (It didn't occur to me to turn it over.)

Whew! So, so sorry I haven't posted pics of what I got yet, but here they are now:

Nerd Herd stamp, cards, and a pocket-protector iPod holder (iPod not pictured as it was busy taking the picture Smiley )
and...

Super-cool organizer! Inside is a picture of me and a barcode and a Nerd Herd label! There's a zipper and pockets and it closes with velcro and everything! Like I said, super cool!

Thank you for a fun and awesome swap, A2JC4life!
